Configuring Server Performance

To make your Windows server perform at its best, you can configure it to use the High performance power plan.

To configure the system to use the High performance power plan:

  1. Open the Power Options control panel.


  1. Under the Preferred plans group, locate the High performance option.
  2. If the option is unavailable, click Change settings that are currently unavailable.
  3. Click High performance.
